Shehzad lose contract due to Attitude problem

Pakistan / Sports News — Pakistani Opener Ahmed Shehzad unable to get his central contract because the main reason of his disciplinary and attitude problem, said Former Pakistan Manager Intikhab Alam on August 12, 2011.

Performance of Ahmed Shehzad was not an issue to lose the central contract. The Managers reported for his attitude and discipline.


Intikhab Alam also told that Chairman of PCB Ijaz Butt personally advised him to improve his behavior but he still not changed.


The performance of Ahmad Shehzad was excellent in past like he has two centuries against New-Zealand series and he was also a permanent part of Pakistan Cricket team in World Cup.


Some Media reported that he was dropped by the cause of misunderstandings between Former Captain Shahid Afridi and Coach Waqar Younis in the recent tours.


Intikhab Alam hoped if he improves his attitude and maintain the discipline in the team he can make a part of the team again.


Intikhab also added that when the PCB offering the central contract to the team players the board had consideration not just only performance of the play and physical fitness they also think about the behavior of the players and discipline.
