Pakistan News: CM Sindh, Rehman Malik assure ANP to remove their distresses > Awami National Party (ANP) has announced to finish the boycott from National Assembly, Senate and Sindh Assembly as Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah gratified them.
On Saturday Chief Minster Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah along with Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik met the ANP delegation and requested them to end the boycott from the proceedings of the Senate as well as the Sindh Assembly.
On the occasion the leaders of ANP informed Chief Minster about their reservations in Karachi and behavior of MQM with the workers of ANP, whereas CM Sindh assured them that their all the apprehensions would be removed. After the meeting Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah told the media that ANP and PPP are the allies in center as well as in all provincial governments and Peoples Party would not let its partners to apart.
He said that ANP has a very important and positive role in national politics. He said that ANP was peaceful party and the cooperation between PPP and ANP is going up since long. “I want to make it clear on all that it is a fact that ANP is the big political party of the country which could not be ignored.
ANP offered a lot sacrifices from establishment of Pakistan to strengthening of the country”, he added. Shah said that ANP has expressed some worries about Karachi and PPP accepts that their concerns were just right.
In this connection the reconciliation committee comprising of leaders of the both parties would do away with the genuine complaints of ANP. He said that the matter of KESC would also be solved soon.
On the occasion ANP leader Haji Adeel said that Qaim Ali Shah assured them that their problems would be resolved and ANP believes in CM’s words.
He said that the PPP should leave the policy of ignoring its allies otherwise it would harm the politics of Sindh. He said that the delegation of ANP would meet Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.
Federal Minister Rehman Malik said that the whole nation presents salute to Pakhtun brothers, who offered lot of sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said that the alliance of PPP and ANP will not break in any case.
