Pakistan News: Petroleum Prices increased, up to 21 Percent > Prices of LPG Gas prices have been raised five Rupees per KG. Minister of Finance Hafeez Shaikh has said that increase in POL prices was inevitable as the Pakistan Government could not pay for to give more financial support on the POL Prices.
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari briefed in Awan-E-Sadr about the economic situation in Pakistan. Hafeez Shaikh said that if the govt give more financial support in petroleum prices then govt has losses of 8 billion rupees in only Current April Month.
OGRA – Oil and Gas Regulation Authority had forward the summery of petroleum products price to Ministry to seeking an increase of petroleum product from 12 to 21 %.
According to Source, the summery for increasing of the petroleum prices have been organized and the Oil and Gas Regulation Authority has recommended up to 21 percent.
Increments of New POL price the petrol increased by Rs 6.30, High Octane By Rs 6.97 and Kerosene Oil increased by Rs 11.67 Pakistani Rupees.
High and Light Speed Diesel see the heave of Rs 9.80 and Rs 14.30 respectively. The New Prices applicable from April 1, 2011 approved by Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Prices of LPG Gas prices have been raised five Rupees per KG. LPG Association President IRFAN KHAN told the that the new hike prices of LPG non-commercial cylinder has been increase by 59 rupees and commercial cylinder increase by 227 rupees.
With the current raise, LPG price in Karachi and Lahore has come to Rs100 from Rs95 per kg, Rs115 from Rs110 per kg in Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalpur, Kohat and Marri and in Muzaffarabad to Rs120 from Rs115 per kg.
