Pakistan Politics: PPP, MQM Agreed to resolve the issues > PPP and MQM have agreed to resolve the issues between Pakistan Peoples Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
Federal Minister of Interior Rehman Malik hold a meeting in London with MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and later in Karachi with President Asif Ali Zardari to explain the latter about the meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain.
Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan join the meeting regarding to the issues of the 2 Parties PPP and MQM were finalized. The agreement was achieved during the meeting that Muttahida will end its boycott of National Assembly, Senate and Sindh Assembly.
According to Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar, the meeting took place amid extremely amicable atmosphere and the two parties reached consensus not to allow any third force to poke its nose between the two parties.
President Zardari and Federal Minister Malik assured that action would be taken against the criminal elements in any party including People’s Peace Committee.
Muttahida delegation will call on President Zardari today, after which formal announcements will be made.
