Pakistan Politics: 10 points agenda Talks underway between Government and PML-N. The tenth and final round of talks on PML-N’s 10-point reforms agenda between the federal government and the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz, would be concluded today.

The Government was to present its progress report on the 10-point agenda in today’s meeting.

The finance minister, Abdul Hafiz Shaikh was leading the government block, while federal ministers Babar Awan and Naveed Qamar were supporting the finance minister.

On the other hand Senator Ishaq Dar was leading the PML-N’s team supported by Mehtab Abbasi and Pervez Rashid of Nawaz league.

It was expected that the finance minister would present the report of Government’s performance on reforms agenda in today’s meeting.

Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said the implementation of the agenda would take time.

Talking to journalists in Bahawalpur, he explained that proposals calling for restructuring would take more time to implement.

Thursday is the last day of a 45-day period set by the PML-N for the government to implement the agenda.
