NA Committee to discuss irregularities in FDE

Breaking News: NA Committee to discuss irregularities in FDE. The National Assembly Standing Committee on Education will discuss the report of the Sub Committee constituted to look into the different irregularities committed by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in recruitment of teaching staff.The committee meeting will be held under the chairmanship of MNA Ch. Abid Sher Ali on Monday (February 14) in Parliament House,an official of NA Secretariat told APP on Saturday.

He said Secretaries of Education and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Chairman Federal Broad of Intermediate and  Secondary Education, Chairman Pakistan Academy of Letters and  Director General FDE have been summoned to give briefing to the  committee.
He further said that the committee would also discuss the issue  of Housing Scheme launched by the Federal Broad of Intermediate and  Secondary Education Islamabad for its employees, the recommendations  of the Sub-Committee constituted to consider the Pakistan Academy of  Letters Bill-2010, the Sub-Committee constituted to consider
Compulsory School attendance Bill-2008, Prohibition of Corporal  Punishment Bill-2010, the report of the Sub-Committee constituted to  consider the Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational  Institutions (Regulation and Promotion) Ordinance, 2007 (NO.LV of  2007). —APP
