Cabinet rightsizing again Said Babr Awan

“The issue of rightsizing the federal cabinet as a way to reduce government spending was also discussed at two meetings between the teams of government and PML-N,” said Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan, Member of PML-N team.

He told Dawn that the government had promised to reduce both the decentralization of government departments or the merger of various departments.

The size of the Cabinet has already reduced after the resignation of five ministers of the JUI-F and MQM. Five departments from being transferred to the provinces by the end of February.
