KARACHI: Approving of a “decisive operation” against the elements involved in targeted killings in Karachi, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has directed that peace be restored in the city at any price .
The decision was taken at an executive meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party at the Aiwan-i-Sadr.
The meeting began Friday evening and continues until the early hours of Saturday morning.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik said the meeting on law and order situation in Karachi and the recent wave of assassinations in the city and the measures taken to date to restore normalcy.
